The Story of Creative Warehouse

A confession here. Creative Warehouse came about from a feeling of failure. 

When Simon, our Director, moved to Cambridge, he was doing nicely helping companies with their key messages, websites, presentations and pitches, and securing media coverage. 

He became friendly with the great CEOs, Directors and entrepreneurs he worked with, and they came to rely on him for communications support. 

Which gave rise to a problem.

They would ask if he could help with design work, but Simon had to say no. He didn’t have the skills. Or perhaps he could support them in building a website? But no, he couldn’t help with that either. He didn’t have the ability or experience. 

In which case, what about shooting and editing a high spec video? And sadly, despite his years as a BBC News Correspondent, Simon couldn’t do that either. 

Which made him sad, because he felt he was failing these brilliant business people he so admired. But it also gave him an idea. He’d spotted an opportunity. One for which there was clearly demand: a one stop shop, complete business communications consultancy with a watchword of excellence. 

So Simon went out and recruited first one, then two brilliant designers, both with great talent and track records of achievement. To that he added a pair of web developers, followed by a cameraman and editor with years of experience and ability to match, along with a team of writers. 

Now they work happily and successfully together as Creative Warehouse, the name designed to demonstrate that whatever communication challenge a customer may have we can solve it.
