Services Offered By Eco EnerG

Eco EnerG renewables offer a complete turn-key service covering the entire eco-energy production process, from concept development to eco-energy solution delivery to consumers.

Biomass

Biomass is a renewable biological resource that comes from plants and animals. Biomass was the predominant source of total annual energy consumption until the mid-nineteenth century.

Biomass is a common cooking and heating fuel in many countries, particularly in developing countries. To minimise carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuel usage, several developed countries are increasing their use of biomass fuels for transportation and energy generation. Biomass provided roughly 5 quadrillion British thermal units (Btu) in 2020, accounting for around 5% of most industrialised countries’ total primary energy consumption.

Eco energy offers a selection of Biomass products and Biomass professional services for its clients:

  • Biomass Boilers
  • WoodiePod
  • Commercial Biomass Solutions
    • Biomass Fuel and Storage
    • Biomass Pellets
    • Biomass Woodchips
    • Biomass Feed Systems and Combustions
    • Biomass Boiler Maintenance
    • Biomass Boiler Controls

Wind

Wind is a renewable source of electricity. In general, utilising wind to generate electricity has less environmental consequences than many other energy sources. Wind turbines, with a few exceptions, do not exhaust pollutants into the air or water, nor do they require water for cooling. Wind turbines may help lessen total air pollution and carbon dioxide emissions by reducing the quantity of power generated from fossil fuels.

Solar

The sun has been producing energy for billions of years and is the ultimate source of all modern energy sources and fuels. People have utilised the sun’s rays (solar radiation) to keep warm and dry meat, fruit, and grains for thousands of years. People created devices to collect solar energy for heat and convert it to electricity over time.

  • Solar Photovoltaic System
  • Solar PV Tracker
  • Battery Storage

Combined Heat and Power

Combined Heat and Power, or CHP, is a renewable energy option that may be used to replace traditional fossil fuels like oil and coal.

A gas engine, a generator, and a heat exchange system make up a CHP system. Sustainable, ‘woody’ biomass fuels are burned to a very high temperature (1000oC) before being transformed from solid to gas. This gas is then used to power a generator that generates three-phase electricity.

The process generates a significant quantity of heat, which is trapped and utilised to heat anything from dairies, poultry units, pig sheds, and greenhouses to industrial complexes, hotels, and schools.

By gasifying sustainably sourced wood chips, CHP generates energy and heat. The heat generated by the process may be put to good use in a variety of ways and has proven especially effective in enterprises that require a lot of heating or drying, such as hospitals, recreational centres, rural estates, broiler units, and dairies. The plant’s generated power can be consumed on-site or exported back to the grid.

The Eco EnerG Biogas CHP generates both heat and electricity and is eligible for government incentives like ROCs and bRHI (Biogas – Renewable Heat Incentive).

HR/MVHR

Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR), commonly known as Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV), is an energy recovery ventilation system. Their installations will use local materials, expertise, and skills whenever possible to reduce embodied CO2. Within the Eco EnerG community, they promote the local economy, help local people, and maintain local talents.

The system consists of a ducting network that connects each room. Air is evacuated from the property’s damp rooms while fresh supply air is drawn in from the outside using a single unit. This helps to keep humidity levels consistent, preventing condensation and mould growth.

Heat Pumps

Air-to-air, water-source, and geothermal heat pumps are the three types of heat pumps. Outside your home, they capture heat from the air, water, or earth and concentrate it for use inside.

  • Air Source Heat Pump
  • CO2 High-Temperature Heat Pump

Ground Source Heat Pump

Heat is transferred from the ground to buildings using a ground source heat pump. The sun’s radiation heats the planet. The soil retains the heat and maintains a temperature of roughly 10°C even in the winter, only two metres below the surface. A ground source heat pump employs a ground heat exchange loop to tap into this continually renewed heat reservoir to heat buildings and provide hot water.

Three to four heat units are caught and transmitted for every unit of power utilized by the heat pump. In practice, this implies that a properly constructed Ground Source Heat Pump may save 450% on power. Carbon dioxide emissions will be 70% lower than a gas boiler heating system at this efficiency level. Carbon emissions may be lowered to zero if power is generated using renewable energy sources such as solar PV.

A Ground Source Heat Pump system comprises three fundamental components: a ground heat exchange loop, a heat pump that concentrates accessible heat from the ground, and a building heat distribution system like UFH or Radiators.

The ground loop is a pipe that is buried underground in a horizontal trench or a vertical borehole if necessary.

Horizontal trenches are excavated 1.2 meters below ground level, and while they need more land than a borehole, they are usually far less expensive for smaller systems. Boreholes, bored to a depth of 80 to 120 meters, may benefit from warmer ground temperatures than horizontal trenches.

Eco EnerG Reviews

Read about the experiences of previous customers when they interacted with the friendly team over at Eco EnerG. So far, they have earned reviews that declare them as a good company.

Eco-Energ Solutions installed a large array of solar panels on the roof of an agricultural building. The job ran well from start to finish. The scaffolders did a careful efficient erect and the panel install team were great.A very neat and tidy job was carried out at a fair price by highly skilled, courteous and friendly workforce.Highly satisfied with a project that is performing well. – Peter Swinburne

Very happy with the recent install of solar thermal by the team from Eco EnerG Solutions. The installation team, including Matthew and Dave, were excellent. Worked tidily and efficiently and cleaned up as they went along. They were also very respectful and keen to provide a quality service. It’s early days as far as the effectiveness of the system goes but, if the service is anything to go by, I’m sure it will be excellent. – Alex Angell

Craig and the team came out and installed my solar thermal system this week. I have an off grid house with grass roof so not the standard job. Other companies refused to quote for the installation as it was out of their experience. Eco EnerG Solutions were up to the task though. They were polite and helpful and put the research in. They sourced suitable alternative parts and worked hard to fit the system to my particular setup. Now I have free hot water. Thank you! – Mark

Eco EnerG installed an air source heat pump and wet underfloor for me in 2020 and they have just completed a service for me. The installation was excellent (a totally independent plumber told me it was extremely well installed) and the service went smoothly. I’ve always felt extremely well supported in the 18 months I’ve known them, they know their stuff, they seem to genuinely care about me and I don’t feel like just another customer. – Mr. Armstrong
