The Priory Hospital saved my life. I stayed as an inpatient for 28 days on the ATP (Addiction Treatment Programme) in September 2019. I was diagnosed with Depression whilst there and received the very best treatment with my Consultant at the hospital. The 28 day stay taught me everything about Addiction and how to recover from the hopeless state of addiction. The ATP therapists are amazing. The daily activities, 7 days a week, educated me, gave me hope, showed me how to live my life without any mind altering drugs and gave my whole family hope. The aftercare meetings I attend are invaluable. 2 meetings a week with the ATP staff and other ex Priory residents, where we continue to talk and work on our recovery. Overall, the Priory Hospital is the place to go, if you need help. In terms of facilities…I had a lovely single room, 3 square meals a day and I felt safe and supported at all times. This environment enabled me to turn my life around. I am so grateful to the Priory Hospital and the ATP therapists…they really did save my life.
